The jury of the Asturias Agri-Food Awards organised by El Comercio with the collaboration of the Gijón Chamber of Commerce, and sponsored by CaixaBank and Alimerka has already decided the winners of this year’s edition. The aim of these awards is to recognise the work of these companies for Asturian gastronomy and products, as well as to acknowledge the positive impact of the projects on their environment.
Cafento was awarded the “Lifetime Achievement” prize, and Industrias Lácteas Monteverde obtained the prize for Innovation and Internationalisation. Los Caserinos livestock farm was awarded with the “Organic Product” award, and Judith Naves’ catering company received the “Entrepreneurship” award.
The presentation of these awards will take place at the Agropec fair, held on 25th, 26th and 27th September at the Luis Adaro exhibition centre.
